This Saturday we are doing a special Mother/Daughter activity for the Activity Days girls. I have been looking for some fun easy table settings and decorations. These little flowers will definitely be put to good use. Check them out at MADE.

DIY moss spheres

Wow, completely eliminating the need for a styrofoam ball. Very cool! This project could be done for $1 because I know that moss is available at the dollar store. Check it out at Creations by Kara.

spring break

Yummy sour cream orange rolls. I made these Easter morning and had to stop myself from eating the whole pan. Luckily I had a family that was very willing to partake with me. Check out the recipe on Studio 5.

How about turning those cheap plastic leftover Easter eggs into a beautiful decoration. Here are a few that are being displayed in my house. Check out a tutorial on Crafty Sisters.

The last project that my girls and I have been working on this last week is growing our own wheatgrass. This is the perfect project for kids because you start to see result in just a few days. My girls have loved taking care of there little plants. Check out some great instructions on Make and Takes.

I will see everyone back here in a few days after I enjoy my spring break holiday. Hope you have a great week.

chocolate birds nest

Don't these little nests bring back memories of childhood. I know I made these on many a Easter. I was especially happy with this recipe because it had no peanut butter (daughter is allergic). Check them out at Mustard Seeds.

peeps bunny bunting

How adorable is this...I love peeps. My little girl had a peeps bunny stuffed animal when she was a baby, so when I think of peeps, I think of her. Check out this cute bunting at V and Co. via MADE.

yo yo yarn wreath

I wanted to add a little color to my front door so I made this fun and bright wreath.
Supplies
wreath form
yarn
fabric
needle/thread
glue gun
ribbon for hanging
All that I did was wrap the yarn around the wreath form (purchased at the dollar store). Then I made a few fabric yo yo's (tutorial found at Hello My Name is Heather), hot glued them to the wreath, tied my ribbon up top and hung on my door. So easy and I had all the materials on hand except for the wreath form. I guess you could say this project cost $1.00. Not to shabby.
