flash cards

To help my son learn his sight words for Kindergarten I wanted to make him some flash cards. I went on a hunt to find some, but thanks to The Smiling Teacher I didn't have to go very far. Her website is set up for students of a specific school, but I thought her site was great for extra help for any child! She has great cards, games, activity pages, etc.

For the Flash Cards I cut them out, laminated them and attached them all to a metal ring so he could flip through them easily. To get all the cards go here.

scrabble tile pendants

These pendant necklaces are absolutely adorable. What an easy way to have an awesome piece of jewelry for all of your outfits. I saw these on Make and Takes but they originally came from HomeStudio - how nice of them to give us a tutorial on how we can make some of our own.

pillow talk dice

These pillow talk dice make me laugh. What a fun bridal shower gift and super easy to make. All you would need are some wooden blocks, paint and some vinyl lettering. Check them out at Just Smile.

dish soap dispenser

I don't know about you, but I absolutely hate the dish soap bottle on the counter, but I also hate putting it under the sink because everytime I have to use it I have to dig it out from under the sink. Annoying!! When I saw this cute solution I was very happy. Check out DesignSponge for the how to.

childs apron pattern

How perfect would these be for our little girls while they are playing house or kitchen. Can I just put in a special request for one in my size - adorable. Skip to My Lou is an amazing blog and gives step by step instructions for us all.

beautiful scarf/shawl

Love this scarf and love the netting material that it is made out of. Even better it doubles as a shawl. You can make one of your own with this tutorial from Pretty Ditty.

homemade toddler beds

This is a project that looks very expensive (but isn't) and is very do-able, even for those (me) that have little experience in craftsmanship. Design Mom is where I saw these awesome toddler beds and here is the tutorial on how to construct them. Your little ones will love sleeping on something so stylish.
