button bouquet

We moved the girls little table into the family room so it was necessary that they have a fun little centerpiece that matched the colors of the rest of the room. Yes, I said necessary :) We decided on these fun little button bouquets. Even better, my oldest was able to help with the construction. I found a great tutorial at Whimsy Love.
And since we are on the topic of buttons. How yummy do these look? I love shortbread! They make me think of my babies, because when I was in the hospital recovering I survived on a pure shortbread (Lorna Doone) diet. Check out the recipe at Creature Comforts.

Velcro Ball Catch

I saw this project on Dollar Store Crafts and knew that my boys would love it. Since the weather here has been a little crazy we have been couped up in the house finding things to keep us busy. This is an inexpensive project/game that will do the trick. Check here for a list of supplies and a how-to.

Then I saw these pinwheel jello jigglers. Find them at la * T * da.

My daughters preschool class better watch out because I think their little bellies are about to be filled with jello.
