stitched bats
I just love that these are bats (oh scary) but the colors that they are made in make them look oh so sweet and nice. Fun little contrast to typical Halloween decorating. You can get a free pattern to make some of your own at whosies...written whatnots.

...these that I had seen a while back on A Soft Place to Land. Is this not such a cheap, fun and cool way to add some color and decoration to your home. And...anything involving spray paint has my name written all over it. Click here for a tutorial for the above picture.

door/file cabinet redo
Here is the cool new desk that my husband and I put together. I have had these file cabinets, that I got free from Craigslist, for a few months and have just been waiting for a good idea to pop into my head. Well...a few weeks ago it did.
First I primed, spray painted and sealed my file cabinets.
Next, I tracked down this great door at the Habitat for Humanity Restore. I sanded, primed, painted and glazed it. Giving it that great vintage look.
Then, we ordered a piece of glass that measured the size of the door.
Last, we placed the door on top of the file cabinets and...ta da...we have the most awesome, one of a kind, desk ever!! I am so excited because I now have room for both screens (photo editing purposes) and plenting of arm and leg room.

Ear Wax Pops
I found this totally gross, but pretty funny Halloween snack on Skip to my Lou. It's originally from Saucy's Sprinkles post about her super fab Halloween party! This is just one of the snacks that she had. Check out her brain cupcakes and dirty dishwater punch! How fun!! It doesn't say how to make them, bit if you look close it's just mini marshmallows with a little bit of peanut butter on the ends then stuck on sucker sticks. Can't wait to make these!
halloween chandelier
I just had to show everyone my cute Halloween chandelier decor. I know this is nothing super inventive, but the reason I wanted to post this is because everything was purchased at The Dollar Store. The paper lanterns were a great dollar find and the pom poms were made following this tutorial. Proof that you can make something cute and not break your wallet.

Toilet Paper Pumpkins
Chocolate on my Cranium offers a cute, simple and cheap way to make decorative pumpkins for the Halloween/Fall season here. I thought it was pretty creative the way she used toilet paper (of all things) as the base of the pumpkin!! =) What a great way to make storing toilet paper in the bathroom cute!!

linky love roundup
Thank you to everyone who participated in our first Linky Love (which I think I might start calling Much Ado Mondays, what do you think?). It was so much fun to see all the different projects, blogs, recipes, etc. that you lead us too. Pictured above are some of the projects that you linked us to, so if you see something that you like, we've got you covered with where to find it. In the future we will just have the link option up for one day, but since it was our first time linking I wanted to make it available for a few days so everyone that wanted to participate had the chance.
Thanks again to everyone and hopefully we will see you again next Monday :)
Click HERE for any of the above projects.
